Berndt and Berndt (1993) treat it as a dialect/tribal name while Walsh treats it as a language name whose dialects are Ngawait, Erawirung, Ngintait, and Ngarkat. These are treated as dialects related to Yuyu by Berndt and Berndt. Dixon (2002) on the other hand seems to treat Yuyu as another name (or his standard name) for Ngarkat."",
